Gift wrap

#29 - May.2022

One of the common pitfalls in product strategy is assuming that a good story is just a nice gift wrap for selling purposes once the product is ready to launch.

The true value of a story is when it becomes a mechanism to guide your product vision from the inception of the idea throughout the entire lifecycle.

The narrative should serve as a prediction of the future, shaping your product during the different iterations. It should become that inner voice that reminds you who is your real customer and what they want to accomplish through your product.

Using storytelling simply as a sales pitch is not taking full advantage of the power of a strong narrative. Your product story should be created upfront; to guide, to focus...to inspire.
