Leading the new generation of digital products
#69 - Jun.2023
AI has opened an interesting debate about its ability to transform the way how we work. In multiple sectors, the rising question is as to what extent AI will impact their economies.
As of now, the real impact is unpredictable. The coin is in the air.

The changes are not reduced only to efficiency, but also to the way of designing new products and services to solve our customer's problems. The next generation of digital products requires a new mindset to address large-scale challenges like privacy and customer trust.
The professionals leading the way in this new generation of products have an opportunity to reinvent themselves using new tools driven by high computational power but, at the same time, solve more complex problems for the society of the future.
What are the key changes that will affect our today's way of designing new applications?
Data and the exponential growth of processing power have given rise to a new iteration of our design practice: Computational Design. In this new iteration, we have new toolsets driven by AI, accelerating the way how we understand problems and ideate solutions. Privacy takes a front stage and, more than ever, requires a "by design" approach. Similarly, the way how we deal with ethical decisions in our design becomes critical as technology tends to be more probabilistic rather than deterministic.
