The human thumbs are, by far, one of the most essential features in our body's evolution. It gave humans a huge advantage over all other species.
Through the thumb, we were able to handle things. We were capable of manipulating small objects. We started grasping and applying torque motion.
We started building more complex tools, slowly developing a fine craft. We became builders. We started creating art and expressing ourselves in new ways.
Through a thumb.
This is a great example that what might seem like small differences can generate massive second-order outcomes. In our daily lives, this is the type of small change that is worth investing in.
These are the small features in your product backlog that can generate exponential benefits for customers. Is that small habit that will place you in a much better position to thrive. Is a slight shift in your mental model that will drive your decision-making to achieve your goals.
Sometimes is just about finding small changes that can unlock value that compounds over time.
