Every year it seems that I go back to my go-to resolution of being more constant in my meditation practice.
As with any habit, meditation requires discipline. Is saying "yes" when your mind says "not today".
Contemplating how your mind works can help you understand how & why you react to certain things and makes you more aware of your own feelings.
Is hard to think about how we go into our day-to-day lives without this perception. It helps you live. That's precisely why is called a practice; so that you can be mindful at any time.
Start simple. 5 mins are enough. Keep it constant, even if you don't feel motivated. The practice compounds over time.
Look under the hood of your mind! You'll be surprised by what you will find.
