Here is a quick idea before you head off for the weekend:
Taking agility blindly just to deliver things faster is missing the point of what a value-added iterative process means. I would argue that for many teams the orthodoxy of methodologies and frameworks becomes a blocker for creating impactful work. It is purely a burning-point or complete-task game.
Creating direct value for customers using your product or service should be a priority. Or rather, THE priority.
Each iteration or milestone should be intentional and conscious of what is the real value we are adding; not just a synchronous delivery cadence of worthless work. Don't let processes make you lose sight of your priority.
