[Weekly Retro] Confidence and accuracy

#22 - Nov.2023

Happy Friday!

Here is a quick idea before you head off for the weekend:

In decision-making, confidence does not always lead to accuracy. Acknowledge that your confidence can be influenced by context noise, personal biases, or wrong assumptions.

While confidence can play a key role in the speed of action, slow, logical, data-based, and process-driven thinking pays a higher dividend, in particular on high-risk decisions.
