The power of the “how-might-we” question is underrated. A couple of things that this simple, yet strong, question can bring to a debate for problem-solving:

• Challenges the status-quo
• Promotes collaboration (“We”)
• Opens new alternatives
• Reduces biases
• Triggers other questions (such as “what if”)
• Invites to divergent thinking
• Encourages curiosity

Engaging in a problem with an open mind toward the possibilities is the best way to start the journey toward the solution.
