[Weekly Retro] Problems in roadmaps
#52 - Jun.2024
Happy Friday!
💡 Here is a quick idea before you head off for the weekend:
Reasons why you might be having problems with your product roadmap:
- Have too many items;
- No clear prioritization criteria;
- Is not driven by the focus of your strategy;
- Is based on the desires of managers, not customer needs;
- Value is not delivered progressively;
- Have items with impacts that can’t be measured;
- Does not account for risks (technical, business, etc);
- Is not well promoted across the team and stakeholders;
- Too focused on solutions, rather than problems or opportunities;
- Do not inspire!
